Expanding access to tertiary education across the Central Coast with a new high-tech sustainable campus.
The University of Newcastle’s new Central Coast Campus at 305 Mann Street adds to the growing innovative hub of Gosford. The campus improves access to tertiary education for people living on the Central Coast, providing students with a contemporary place to study and obtain in-demand skills.
Designed and built for a 6 Star Green Star ‘Design and As Built’ rating, the new building is four levels high. The University of Newcastle worked closely with the First Nations Working Group on building and design features, artwork and language opportunities that will feature in the building.
The APP Group was appointed to provide project management and design management services. Our team worked closely with stakeholders to drive and coordinate all capital consultants, the Principal Contractor, and the User Group’s deliverables at each phase of the project. The campus is will open in early 2026 and welcome up to 900 students.
