The APP Group expands infrastructure leadership with two promotions

The APP Group, a leader in Property and Infrastructure, has made two key promotions within its Transport business.

Bianca Diffin has been promoted to the role of Executive General Manager – National Assurance. Her new role brings The APP Group’s Assurance services together under one united national team.

For over 20 years, Bianca has provided expert independent verification and assurance services to many of Australia’s largest transport infrastructure projects, including North East Link, NorthConnex & M2 Integration, and Brisbane Airport Link.

Bianca holds a Bachelor of Civil Engineering from RMIT, a Bachelor of Business Administration, and a Master of Philosophy in Structural Engineering from the University of Cambridge. She is also recognised as a Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) and a Fellow of Engineers Australia (FIEAust).

The APP Group’s national transport and infrastructure Projects team has also come together under the leadership of Steve Wilshaw, who has been promoted to the role of Executive General Manager – Projects.

Steve’s extensive project experience extends to major transport projects, including Suburban Rail Loop East EOIs for Package G Linewide and Packages E&F stations, Sydney Metro Western Sydney Airport, Sydney Metro City & Southwest, New Intercity Fleet project, Rio Tinto’s Rail Expansion Program, Reliance Rail Waratah Fleet, and the Cronulla Line Rail Duplication.

David added, “In addition to his strong background in the rail industry, Steve has demonstrated the leadership capabilities to attract new opportunities across multiple sectors while at the same time delivering high-quality services and client solutions. I am looking forward to seeing Steve grow the projects business, including the new OPEX and Asset Management offering, here in Australia and into the New Zealand market.”
