The APP Group is pleased to welcome Lee Arasu to the role of Executive Manager, Business Development focusing on our Transport and Infrastructure business. In this role, Lee will drive national growth strategy across key markets.
Lee is known for his commitment to building strong client relationships and consistently delivering on project outcomes. He will work closely with transport and infrastructure executives to shape strategic approaches, identify market opportunities, and position The APP Group for long-term growth and success.
With over 30 years of experience in the construction industry, Lee brings a wealth of expertise in delivery, strategy, maintenance, and business development. His career spans Australia, New Zealand, the United States, and Indonesia, where he has contributed to major infrastructure programs across transport, energy and utilities, defence, and resources. He holds a Master of Engineering Science in Civil Engineering – Construction Management from the University of New South Wales.
Lee is a proud veteran who began his career in the Royal Australian Air Force as an Airfield Construction Engineer. His military background shaped his strong leadership style and operational discipline, qualities he has carried into senior executive roles at CPB Contractors, UGL, Lendlease, AECOM, and Opus International. Most recently, he led his own engineering consultancy, advising firms on major project bids and delivery strategies.
Lee brings to The APP Group a depth of industry insight and an extensive network of partners and clients. His project portfolio includes the Central West Orana Renewable Energy Zone (with Valorem Advisory), Rozelle Interchange (Transport for NSW), South-East Queensland Flood Mitigation, and Sydney Metro West tunnelling packages.
