Elevating the lobby design at AMP’s Bourke Place.

Bourke Place, owned by AMP Capital, is a modern and premium office tower with 46 levels of office space, 2 levels of retail space and more than 400 car parking spaces. In 2019, AMP Capital appointed The APP Group as Project Manager and Superintendent for its lobby refurbishment, alongside architects 3XN and NH Architecture and Probuild as lead contractor. The main objective for the refurbishment was to reconfigure the ground floor for a more seamless arrival experience and create a space for informal meetings and social interaction.  

The lobby was completed in 2021 and now features an elegant design with terraced seats at the entry and sculptural feature lighting suspended from the ceiling. Turkish and Greek marble are used throughout the space to create a contemporary and premium feel. The design innately guides visitors to the lifts and customer service area. The lobby now includes new terraces overlooking Bourke and King Streets, as well as a repositioned café and coffee bar and informal seating along the northern lobby concourse.
