Integrated Resort Developments (IRDs) encompass extensive requirements including, land use planning, masterplanning, product mix, public domain and infrastructure. The ability to define the appropriate brief and then bring together the necessary skills to tailor each projects needs is both complex and critical.

Delivering hospitality projects in live environments requires extensive, complex programming of works schedules to ensure minimal disruption to existing trade and surroundings throughout construction, refurbishment and renovation.

We’ve tackled live sites as complex as Sydney’s Star expansion, and worked on retail environments in busy CBDs as well as hotels, airports, and airport infrastructure facilities.

In the context of existing Clubs, the driver is often to transition from an asset rich position to a revenue producing asset(s). Assessing long term priorities, changing legislation and moving gaming dependent income to other sources is now essential. APP has assisted a number of Registered Clubs develop and implement masterplans that may include new F&B offerings, expanded carparking and consideration of residential and similar developments  within the Club footprint as well as adjacent acquired land.

APP can work with the developer or hotel operator to develop a targeted brief that meets the investment requirements. Using this brief, the right design team can be assembled and the contractor tendered and managed through to completion and hotel operations. 

Where existing hotels are in need of a generational refurbishment, we can assist in the scoping of the works, the critical development of the phasing, (including room outages) and the overall sequencing of the works including FF&E, F&B and back of house areas.
