Property and Infrastructure Specialists
APP has worked with all levels of government, acting as developers, owners and operators.

We know that the success of development applications and planning proposals is achieved through meticulous attention to liaising, listening and working with relevant authorities. We’ve built strong relationships with local and state government agencies to ensure that technical studies are carefully scoped to target their specific requirements. This approach streamlines the process and assists in managing project timelines.
On

Civic and Public buildings

Nationally and internationally we’ve provided strategic services such as business case preparation, to assist Government agencies and departments set the direction for their various asset programs. Our delivery expertise spans projects as diverse as Law Courts, police stations, prisons, museums and public parklands.

We also understand the complexities of heritage building requirements, including the detailed approval requirements for restoring or developing landmark buildings with heritage components, and the importance of connectivity with the communal landscape.

We add value for our clients by providing rigorous and comprehensive advisory and project management services, which cover every stage of a project.

Land and Property Assets

We provide tailored services across the asset lifecycle to Local and State Government relating to their property assets and portfolios.  These services range from strategic services such as determining the highest and best use for land, divestment strategies to generate revenue and developing annuity streams on existing assets.  We’ve also recommended and undertaken remediation on Government land assets, and managed the delivery of multiple projects within urban precincts on behalf of local Councils.

Policy and Research

Our research commissions for the Department of Premier and Cabinet in NSW range from undertaking a comparative review of developer taxes and charges across Australia’s Eastern states in relation to housing prices and affordability to examining the impact of planning processes and environmental legislation on the development performance of greenfield land releases.

We’ve worked with a regional NSW Council to study the feasibility for transforming the region into a medical and health precinct, and provided strategic recommendations to another Council on how to position and brand their region as a commercial hub.
