A benchmark fitout to align with corporate brand
KPMG originally moved into the Bishops See development in Perth upon the building’s completion in 2009. With their lease expiring in 2016, they were keen to refresh their fitout, having signed a new 12-year lease term with Brookfield.
As APP had successfully delivered their original fitout, KPMG re-engaged our expertise for their latest requirements. The fitout was to be based on KPMG’s national workplace model, and benchmarked by KPMG’s ground-breaking Barangaroo Sydney and Melbourne offices.
Engaging with stakeholders to optimise outcomes
Understanding the importance of creating a long-term home for KPMG’s staff, APP’s fitout experts managed the internal stakeholder consultation process by establishing an active working group to represent staff interests.
Drawing from the Aboriginal six-season calendar and the Western Australian landscape, the design team established an organic work environment that also included multi-functional workplaces with integrated technology.
Creating an agile environment to anticipate change
APP’s role comprised full project management services for both design and construction phases, and demonstrates APP’s credentials in being at the forefront of contemporary commercial fitout and relocation experience for Australia’s leading organisations and workplaces.
On completion of the 6,900m2 refurbishment, KPMG’s workplace in Perth transformed into an agile environment that offers the benefits of flexibility, to swiftly anticipate and respond to changes as required.
