The opportunity:

As a Quality Consultant (WA), you will work within occupational health, safety and environmental requirements within various infrastructure projects.

This role will support a government department initially on a 12-month FTC (fixed term contract) engagement.

The requirements of the role required are as follows:

  • Experience in quality management and assurance program to align with AS/NZS ISO 9001.
  • Requirement to work closely with occupational safety and health and environmental requirements within infrastructure projects.
  • Considerable practical application of and understanding of quality assurance principles and risk management principles.
  • Considerable practical application of and understanding of the safety principles to meet the requirements of the OSH Act 1984 and Rail Safety National Law Act WA 2015.
  • Provision of advice on risk management and assessment quality requirements to satisfy client/customer requirements.
  • Proven relevant experience in the auditing of quality and safety management systems.

You will also further possess:

  • Meticulous Experience in quality management and assurance programs to align with AS/NZS ISO 9001
  • Practical application and understanding of quality assurance and risk management principles.
  • Provision of advice on risk management and assessment of quality requirements to satisfy client/customer requirements.
  • Proven relevant experience in the auditing of quality and safety management systems.
  • Proactive, self–motivated with the drive and commitment to make the difference to the team. 
  • Agile and adaptable, as the nature of our work is constantly evolving, we need people who thrive in this type of environment
  • Keen interest in learning new skills and development within the quality/projects space
  • High attention to detail with the ability to multi-task
  • Strong relationship building and rapport building skills
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritise
  • Relevant and comparable experience working in an agile, fast paced, and dynamic environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365/Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
