Due to their growth, MinterEllison took the opportunity to secure an additional floor to their existing tenancy. This expansion provides a collaborative and connected work environment that gives all staff access to natural light and a diverse range of spaces.
A significant challenge for the project was to introduce a new work environment to an existing fit out. The outcome consisted of retaining the existing fit out as is with minor modifications, whilst delivering a new floor under the new hybrid design, effectively having two workplace typologies in the one premises. The staff have relocated and the feedback has been positive about the new space.
The project was delivered in stages to allow business continuity. APP attended the steering committee meetings from the outset, assisting MinterEllison in key decision making on the design, procurement model, communications and change. APP have enjoyed working with MinterEllison to understand their business, direction and long term commitment in Perth. The project team delivered a high-quality, functional design that will fulfil their business and staff needs.
