Milestone reached on Brookvale Oval Redevelopment in Sydney

The Manly Warringah Sea Eagles Centre of Excellence and Grandstand redevelopment at Lottoland has reached a milestone, with the first soil being turned as construction commences. APP is managing the delivery of the $33M redevelopment, which is being jointly funded by the Federal Government, New South Wales State Government and the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles.

APP was engaged to lead the project through the Development Approval process working alongside architects HASSELL and Urbis town planners. APP helped to develop the brief and then managed the DA approval, which was secured in August 2020.

The development will include:

  • A new home for the entire Club including office and administration functions
  • World Class player facilities for male and female teams
  • 3000 seat undercover grandstand and high-quality spectator experience areas
  • Corporate areas
  • Facilities for the community.

Lewis Glynn is APP’s Project Director for the redevelopment: “The redevelopment of Lottoland is a significant community project, with multiple stakeholders who are really invested in what this redevelopment will deliver for the players, the supporters and the broader community. As the Project Manager, we’re equally committed to ensuring the Club gets a facility for which all stakeholders can be proud. To that end, we’re working very closely with the project team and the Club’s management to maximise every dollar spent, to deliver a quality finish on time and on budget.”

ADCO Constructions has been appointed as Head Contractor, and construction is expected to be completed in late 2021.
