Stage 11 included works to both the Senior and Junior campuses and was a mixture of new building works and refurbishments of existing spaces. In the Senior School the construction of a new F-Block building consists of a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) Centre and two new learning spaces on the upper floor, along with an expansive Design & Technology facility on the lower ground floor. A new Drama room and refurbishment of the Administration area was also delivered in the Senior School.
At the Junior School the works included the construction of a new standalone STEM centre, renewed student toilet facilities and the refurbishment of several areas delivering a new staffroom, learning spaces and withdrawal rooms.
With a focus on expanding the STEM program across both campuses, students will now enjoy integrated learning through problem solving and inquiry-based learning experiences. The STEM Centres provide access to cutting edge technologies such as robotics, coding and 3D printing.
APP has been project managing several capital works projects for Lakes Grammar and seeing staff and students enjoying the new facilities is an exciting milestone for all involved.
