Working as Project Manager, APP was initially engaged to reconfigure Odyssey House’s head office in Redfern and is pleased to be working with the team once again to deliver the new accommodation facility in Eagle Vale, New South Wales. TCQ Construction has recently been appointed as the new head contractor on the project.
The new facilities, due to be completed by mid-2022, will enable more families to access these important services. APP is working with Odyssey House and the project team to progress the project and establish the deliverables for each stage, meeting the timeline and budget requirements.
Odyssey House is one of just a few long-term Australian residential services that allow men and women, both singles and couples, to undertake rehabilitation treatment while their children aged 0-12 years live with them in a safe learning environment that enables positive and lasting change. The program aims to support and repair the relationships between both the child and parent by offering services focused on physical and mental health, education, interpersonal and social skills, and child development.
Congratulations to all involved, including APP’s Project Director Chris Aspen, Project Manager Digby Harlow and graduate Laura Faulks. As well as to the wider project team Altus Group, TZG Architects, LCI Consultants, Michael Brown Planning Services, Sellick Consultants and Design Confidence.
