The event was instigated by APP’s Queensland RGM Ross Elliott, who was asked a several years ago to contribute a chapter to a global project by MIT and Chapman University entitled “Infinite Suburbia.” This led to the formation of a not for profit policy research organisation ‘The Suburban Alliance’ which co-hosted the event with the BDA Committee for Brisbane.
