Chris Freeman takes on new role as Regional Manager in Victoria

Chris was previously responsible for Victoria’s Commercial and Operations, Project Management business and replaces outgoing Regional Manager Jonathan Caughey.

APP CEO Adam Castro confirmed the promotion by stating: “Chris is a respected leader of the business in Victoria, having been part of their leadership team for eight years. I’m confident that Chris will continue to build our business across all sectors and particularly in retail, commercial and mixed use.”

Chris managed the delivery of several Melbourne landmarks over his 15 years at APP, most notably major commercial projects including the redevelopment of 171 Collins Street and ANZ’s Headquarters at 833 Collins Street. He has also been integrally involved on many of APP’s projects across residential, aged care, health, hospitality and education sectors. For several years Chris has been actively involved in setting the direction of APP’s projects division to drive business growth.

Commenting on the outlook for property and infrastructure markets in VIC, Chris expresses much optimism: “With continued investment by the State Government in major social and transport infrastructure projects, coupled with positive migration flows into the state, the pipeline of opportunity remains steady.  We are finding our clients are continually looking at ways to grow and diversify their property holdings, with the evolution of retail centres into mixed-use precincts, just one example.”
