Celebrating diversity in the lead up to International Women’s Day

In recognition of the upcoming International Women’s Day, we’re proud to acknowledge a broadly even ratio of women to men in our Queensland regional office. Across the wider business the gap is continuing to close. It’s even more exciting to note that this has been achieved through choosing the best people for the roles available and not from targeting particular quotas.

Over the last few years APP has been working to offer flexible working arrangements in a commitment to provide a workplace that supports the competing family and lifestyle needs of our employees.

We celebrate diversity in all forms at APP and this is also reflected in the range of backgrounds, qualifications and experience of our staff. In Queensland alone we have professional women with Bachelors of Built Environment, Bachelors of Business, Advanced Diplomas in Management, Bachelors of Civil Engineering Science, Bachelor of Laws, Bachelor of International Business, Bachelors of Finance, Bachelors of Design, 1st Class Honours in Architecture (and Deans Design Excellence Award), Bachelors of Urban Development (Construction and Property Economics), Certified Associate Project Managers, Graduate Certificates in Built Environment and Engineering, Masters in Construction Practice, Masters in Global Business Analysis, Masters in Construction Management and Certificates in Project Management.

This is quite an achievement and one worth celebrating as we approach International Women’s’ Day.
