The Centre includes three levels of teaching and learning spaces, satellite staff facilities and student amenities with two levels of carparking accessed via Fairley Street.
The architect, Blight Rayner noted architecturally the building is conceived as having ‘bookends’ of openable/closeable classrooms to the open space and street. In between, classrooms and laboratories align either side of a naturally-ventilated corridor, with louvred glazing allowing air flow across the building.
APP’s Project Director Peter Fraser, along with Neil Tomlinson, Melita Nadin and Eunice Zhu form our delivery team for the project.
We are pleased to be working with Alder Constructions in delivering the new Brigidine College Science and Technology Centre which is expected to be completed by the end of 2019.
