APP has been engaged as Project Managers by Yass Valley Council to deliver the first phase of their new Civic Precinct. The Civic Precinct will create a ‘gateway identity’ to the Yass business district, providing an innovative and effective development that maximises both Council and Civic functions. The project includes the provision of a commercial office building to accommodate Council’s administration functions and Council Chambers, along with a customer service centre, public library and community meeting spaces.
The design will repurpose and activate Yass’ heritage icon, the Crago Mill and provide a civic plaza space for community activity. The Civic Precinct will not only benefit Council staff through the provision of efficient and modern office accommodation but will also have significant community benefits through the provision of improved civic spaces and functions.
The APP team working on the project includes Business Unit Leader Kirk Bolte, Project Director Alana Travis and Project Manager Jungha Park.
