Designed as a domestic and international tourist destination, Australian Biome is situated on a 15ha site at Perth Airport. Visitors will experience Australian eco environments, multicultural and Aboriginal cultural experiences in virtual and digital holographic, educational and scenic tours, narrated by traditional owners and first nations people.
APP services across property and infrastructure, including strategic advisory and the facilitation of business cases and decisions to assist organisations realise their strategic objectives. We will bring innovation and commercial thinking to the Australian Biome project and manage the development of the business case needed to secure investment.
Terrence Dewar said: “Australian Biome has the potential to not only re-energise an industry that has been badly damaged from the Covid-19 crisis, but to create a whole new tourism economy here in Western Australia. We are looking forward to working closely with the APP team; the company brings to the table a valued level of reputable expertise and exceptional track record.”
Regional General Manager, WA Stuart Bell said: “Australian Biome has the potential to transform the current tourism market, and seed new forms of innovation technology created here in WA. As part of the business plan, we’re currently exploring and evaluating a range of funding models that will attract entrepreneurial businesses to the opportunities offered by this ambitious project.”
The business plan is expected to be completed mid-year and circulated to potential investors for seed funding opportunities.
