Appointed as Project Manager, APP is providing design and delivery of four CLC’s in the Southern Region of New South Wales, including West Wyalong, Hay, Batemans Bay, and Jindabyne. The new centres are part of the NSW Government’s investment in TAFE NSW to increase service and reach across regional NSW through new, modern campuses.
In February this year, West Wyalong’s CLC opened for course commencement, providing students and employers in the area with greater choice and better access to world-class, learning opportunities. Other CLC’s in Hay, Batemans Bay, and Jindabyne are currently in various stages of delivery and design development.
Each facility has been custom-designed to promote an active learning environment and support high-quality, relevant, and accessible training. Through the use of advanced technologies including simulations and virtual reality experiences, students will have access to elite resources and first-rate education. Expanded course offerings and digital access to flexible learning options from the state-wide TAFE NSW network will mean local students no longer need to travel to bigger centres to study their chosen course.
CLC’s represent the NSW Government’s ongoing commitment to regional communities and will provide local students access to a greater range of learning options, so they can get the skills and jobs they want.
APP’s Project Director Kirk Bolte, Project Director Alana Travis, Senior Project Manager Dimitri Alevizos and Project Manager Jonathon Shaw continue APP’s partnership with TAFE NSW, also having project managed Tranche 1, which included four sites as well as ten sites in Tranche 2.
