We are proud to announce the completion of this business case and submission to the Ministry of Health. This has allowed the commencement of Design Development, due for completion in June 2017.
Stage 2 works will include a major upgrade to the emergency department, a clinical services building with a combined intensive care and high dependency unit, and a combined coronary care and cardiac investigations unit.
The Minister for Health Brad Hazzard and MP Matt Kean visited the site in March, revealing plans for Stage 2 and showing a commitment to the redevelopment and to the Ku-ring-gai community.
APP has also been awarded the management services for the delivery of a new $19.8M multi-deck carpark at the hospital. The carpark allows APP to get boots on the ground and gear up for the end game which is delivery of the Stage 2 redevelopment.
APP’s success in being awarded the carpark development is the result of our successful delivery of the Stage 2 business case. We look forward to continuing our strong relationship with Health Infrastructure on this exciting project.
