APP manages the development of Sydney Business Park

Sydney Business Park lies in Sydney’s northwest development corridor, and is a key part of the city’s expansion strategy. Rezoning of the land occurred in November 2010 and APP is now acting as the development manager for the project, which also includes management of all sales, leasing and marketing activities.

The development is planned to be the first ‘fully integrated’ employment precinct in Sydney, with industrial, commercial, bulky goods and residential components. APP was initially appointed to manage the project through the strategic and planning stages, the exhibition process, and has since grown into a much broader role for this substantial project,                      

The total area of the site encompasses approximately 256ha, with Bunnings Warehouse and IKEA having already committed to acquiring land within the first stage of the project.

APP will manage the design, tender and contract documents for infrastructure. This work extends to reticulation infrastructure, and APP will handle initial scoping, approvals, tendering and contract management.

APP’s responsibilities also include cost management and contract payments, advice on structuring of lease and turn key projects, finance applications and project valuations, management of legal matters, marketing, sales and public relations, including budgets, strategy, and arranging for production of materials.
