Peter McNally combines qualifications in Project Management and Engineering to specialise in infrastructure (road, bridge, rail, marine) and building (commercial, industrial, retail) projects. During his 15 year career in the Construction industry Peter has managed a diverse range of engineering and building projects throughout Australia and Internationally. Peter is a specialist in structuring projects and developing high performing project teams focused on delivering business outcomes for clients. He understands all the intricacies of project delivery and excels in project initiation and planning, with the ability to identify both the technical and commercial risks and opportunities within a project.

David Rann

David Rann is a Project Director for APP, with over 40 years’ experience in planning, constructing and leading major building projects through all phases of delivery. David holds a Bachelor of Science degree and specialises in health, aged care, commercial, industrial, airports and residential sectors. David has been with APP for over 13 years and managed large commercial developments in Sydney, major infrastructure works for Sydney Airport, plus health and aged care projects for NSW Health and the private sector. Most recently David has overseen the new NIB Head Office in Newcastle’s premier Honeysuckle precinct, and is currently Project Director for the new HMRI Research Facility.

Craig McGaffin

Craig McGaffin holds qualifications in town planning and law, and has spent almost 20 years working in the property industry as a planner, lawyer and developer. He has a thorough knowledge in the strategic management of rezoning and development applications, transaction structuring, site capability assessments, feasibility preparation and due diligence investigations. Craig has worked in the public and private sectors, and provided legal advice in relation to most aspects of environmental and planning law to local and state government authorities and private clients, including numerous coal companies. Since 2003 Craig has concentrated on development management and was recently appointed Chairman of the Wollongong Council Independent Hearing and Assessment Panel. Craig can provide specialist expertise in the property (commercial, industrial, residential, mining, local government) sector.

Patrick Smyth

Project Director - Engineering

Patrick Smyth Patrick is a Civil Engineer and Surveyor with over 30 years’ experience, working with both State and Federal Government authorities and the private sector. His expertise is in Water, Remediation, Bridge, Rail and Road, with emphasis on the project management of multidisciplinary infrastructure projects from leadership, strategy and risk assessment to client liaison, procurement, pre-construction management and contracts management. Patrick’s project experience in the Northern NSW region has included Levee Bank Stabilisation, Sewerage Treatment Projects, large water supply projects and the remediation of stage 1 of the former BHP steelworks site in Mayfield.

Andrew McSwan

Andrew McSwan Andrew McSwan is a graduate in Construction Management and brings 15 years of construction and development industry experience to APP’s Central Coast Office. He specialises in Industrial, Master planning, Infrastructure, Commercial, Hospitality, Education and Health projects. Andrew has managed projects up to $150M for industrial clients including TNT, Hasbro, Toll, Recall and Salmat. Andrew’s development experience also includes securing blue-chip long term tenants such as Woolworths and Kimberly Clark for industrial estates. Since joining APP in 2007, Andrew has worked on projects for North Sydney Central Coast Area Health, Healthscope, ALDI, Railcorp and a number of Central Coast based clients.
