APP continues as Cbus Property’s client representative on Breakfast Point

Breakfast Point is one of Sydney’s largest and most prestigious waterfront developments, 9km from the Sydney CBD along the Parramatta River.  It is a joint venture between Rose Group and Cbus Property, with Rose Group acting as the Development Manager.  APP is Cbus Property’s nominated Client Representative, a service we have continually performed for over 10 years since our initial appointment in 2001.

With construction commencing in 1999, Breakfast Point creates a new urban village community, built on the principles of a traditional neighbourhood community over 52ha of prime waterfront real estate.  Upon completion, Breakfast Point will comprise approximately 2,300 dwellings comprising apartments, town houses, houses, a Seniors’ Living complex, a country club, village centre retail precinct, community and recreational facilities.

APP’s role and the level of resource with the project has varied since our initial appointment, although it essentially involves representing Cbus Property’s interest in the project.  We advise on key development issues including advice on sales and marketing, construction, project staging, consultant selection, finance, feasibility analysis, dispute resolution, managing Cbus Property’ independent valuation process and regular due diligence reporting to the Cbus Property executive team.

Prior to APP’s role as client representative for Cbus Property, we were commissioned by previous land-owner AGL, to manage the site remediation works.  APP was also appointed direct by Rose to undertake project management works for apartment and town house buildings.
