Our key areas of expertise include:
Project Sustainability: Addressing sustainability is an integral part of our project management approach. We identify and deliver tangible sustainability outcomes that meet client and stakeholder expectations, without losing sight of the project management axioms of time, quality and cost. We consistently measure and report on sustainability performance using triple bottom line or project specific indicators. In particular we focus on emerging issues such as carbon emission reduction and climate change adaption in the urban environment.
Corporate Sustainability: We translate corporate sustainability objectives into specifically tailored programs to improve environmental and social performance. We are currently working with clients to develop strategies for achieving carbon neutral goals and low carbon procurement. We are also working with clients to achieve corporate environmental management system targets and minimum performance benchmarks such as NABERS in the built environment. In addition we can provide strategic change management coaching and support to ensure that sustainability outcomes are achieved as an integral part of how you do business.
Green Buildings: APP has specific expertise in the construction and refurbishment of energy efficient and green buildings. In particular, we have responded to market needs since the Olympics through incorporating green requirements in building design. As project managers we have led the integrated design team process for commercial office buildings that are aiming for 5 Star ABGR/6 Star Green Star.
Carbon Trading: APP has identified and managed the accreditation process to create carbon credits under the NSW Greenhouse Gas Abatement Scheme (GGAS). APP is currently working with clients in providing inputs into corporate risk assessment and strategy development in response to NGER Act and AETS.
