Assurance
APP will regularly review our performance and seek external assurance of our public reporting.
Governance
APP's Board holds to the key operational tenants of integrity and accountability. These tenants are cornerstones of APP's Core Values and are supported and practised across all levels of staff when dealing with peers, clients, subcontractors and the community.
Economic
As a subsidiary of a publicly listed company we strive to maximise our shareholder returns.
Our profitability is measured by our clients' success, achieved through our commitment to our clients' objectives and adding value to their business.
APP looks to employ people from the local community so we may return value to that community, whilst minimising social dislocation for staff.
Environment
APP is committed to reducing our environmental footprint. We have established the baseline of our operations and have committed to targets for ongoing reductions. APP is committed to making positive contribution internally and, through our interactions with clients, we will explore opportunities to improve their performance in sustainability.
APP understands that application of the precautionary principle - making a decision that favours the environment when all the facts are not at hand - is part of our ethical responsibility for the maintenance of natural systems.
Social
APP recognises that our employees are our most important asset. We provide a working environment based on the principles of diversity, fairness, equity and equal employment opportunities. We do not tolerate discrimination, harassment or bullying. APP is committed to following these policies and recording our performance in these areas.
APP has always provided open forums for communicating with its employees, through regular Communications Meetings, the Innovation Development Group and staff bulletins. We also ensure that pertinent information relating to our parent company is made available to our staff and that access is provided to the employee intranet.
Human Rights
APP endeavours to support and respect the protection of internationally recognised human rights. APP will develop protocols as it enters new countries to make sure we are not complicit in human rights abuses.
Community
APP contributes to the community through our substantial involvement with Redkite - a charity providing wide-ranging support services to families battling childhood cancer.
APP has an open and transparent approach to the engagement of stakeholders on behalf of our clients.
Product Responsibility
APP will exercise due care in managing our services to ensure that social and environmental impacts are minimised whilst at all times protecting customer privacy.
