Community Support

APP believes in giving back to the community and supporting those who need help. It’s a longstanding tradition that is integral to our company’s Sustainability.

Since 1996 APP has played an active role in supporting Redkite (formerly Malcolm Sargent Cancer Fund for Children). We chose Redkite as our main charity partner because many of their values and ethics reflect our own. Redkite staff work tirelessly to deliver support to children and their families who are affected by cancer. Sometimes it’s paying bills, counselling or just providing a shoulder to lean on. APP Corporation donates considerable time to Redkite and our staff choose to be personally involved.

Since its inception, APP has been the Organising Sponsor for the Sydney Redkite Corporate Quiz, heralded as one of the largest and best corporate charity events on Sydney’s fundraising calendar. Attended by 700 people, the Quiz is the Fund’s highest revenue raiser with over $371,000 donated in 2007.

As the Quiz has grown in popularity, so has APP’s involvement. Today we are the Organising Sponsor for the Quiz in Perth, Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne, with a target of beating the $1.0m raised for Redkite nationally last year. The hard work, creativity and commitment to bringing these events to fruition mirrors the way APP goes about its business.
