About Us

Community Support

Since 1996 APP has played an active role in supporting Redkite (formerly Malcolm Sargent Cancer Fund for Children). We chose Redkite as our main charity partner because many of their values and ethics reflect our own. Redkite staff work tirelessly to deliver support to children and their families who are affected by cancer. Sometimes it’s paying bills, counselling, music therapy or simply to provide a shoulder to lean on.

Our staff choose to be personally involved with Redkite by donating time rather than money to assist, although we do that too through targeted fundraising via our annual Golf Day and sporting events such as triathlons. Our project management skills are put to best use on the Redkite Corporate Quiz, a national event which originated in Sydney in 1996 and was co-produced by APP and Redkite for several years.

As the Quiz has grown in popularity, so has APP’s involvement; today we are the Organising Sponsor for the Quiz in Perth, Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne. As Organising Sponsor, APP donates over 1000 hours nationally to securing tables and prizes for the live and silent auctions for the Quiz. In addition we provide an enthusiastic group of 65 APP volunteers nationally to work on the night and our target is to beat the $1m raised for Redkite across Australia in 2008.
